Shipping + Returns
First Class shipping is free on orders $25+ within the US. If you choose expedited shipping at checkout, that will not be eligible for free shipping. All domestic shipping (within US) is thru USPS, and you will receive a tracking number when the package has shipped.
Shipping outside of the US will be charged as per quoted at checkout. The US postal service does not offer a tracking number on international shipping, so unfortunately I will not be able to send one to you.
International First Class shipments can anywhere from 2 – 12 weeks to deliver.
International Priority Mail shipments can take 1 - 4 weeks to deliver. (USPS regulations mandate that all international orders weighing over 4 pounds, to be shipped via USPS Priority Mail)
Please note that shipping times are only an estimate from my past experience with International First Class Mail. USPS will not guarantee a specific delivery date on either domestic or international shipments.
International packages cannot be insured or accounted for once they have left my studio. USPS does not insure International packages. You must purchase insurance if you would like it insured. Please let me know prior to shipping if you would like your package insured, and I will quote you the pricing for that.
International customers are responsible for their own country’s customs fees, taxes and duties. Fees, taxes and duties can vary from country to country and Morningside Road Fiber is not responsible for the fees, nor do I know the pricing of those fees. Customs forms will be filled out to accurately reflect package value and contents. Please don’t ask to have the customs form marked as a “gift” to avoid fees. Morningside Road Fiber will not ever knowingly misrepresent information on a customs form.
If you would like to have shipping expedited, you may choose that at checkout. Expedited shipping within the US is an extra cost and does not qualify for the free shipping offered.
I am not responsible for any items lost, stolen, or confirmed as delivered once they have been shipped.
Returns & Exchanges
Unused yarn in its original condition/packaging and unused items that have their original tag attached, may be exchanged for a refund within 30 days of the date printed on the enclosed invoice in your package. Sale items or custom ordered items are not eligible for return.
Refunds will be issued for the full invoice amount minus any shipping costs incurred. Shipping costs will only be refunded if your items were damaged, or your order was improperly shipped, thus prompting the return.
I will gladly exchange unused items for alternate color choices or styles. Any difference in pricing and shipping costs will be applied.
I will absolutely work with you regarding any flawed or damaged items. I just ask that you please contact me first at firstname.lastname@example.org prior to your return, to request a return shipping label.
Please, allow up to four weeks for all returns/exchanges to be received and processed.
Packages mailed back for return, but are ineligible for return, will not be refunded.
